Surfaces covered with HPL are easy to clean, resistant to light, alcohol, organic solvents and water. This type of surface is safe for food. Tables with HPL surface are recommended for the chemical or physical lab or places where water is used for work and testing. They are also excellent equipment for canteens. PU EDGE BANDING The PU edge banding is a special and innovative mixture that penetrates open edges of chipboard and fills all free spaces, so the tabletop and the edges are permanently compounded, without visible connecting points. As a result of the applied technology, PU is characterised by unique durability, mechanical strength and resistance for UV rays. It also ensures high water resistance – much higher than traditional veneering methods.
